West Penn is proud to announce our purchase of 4 Time Champion, Irish Meadows' Jaxon at the 2016 Royal Progeny sale and excited for his future offspring here at West Penn Alpacas. Estates Mariah is the daughter of the 8X Blue Winner, 2X Color Champion, 2X Reserve Color Champion , the trophy receipent for Spinner’s Dream of the International Alpaca Odyssey which includes all of the animals entered in the entire cottage division at IAO, and to boot, Best of Head….drum roll: is The One and Only 4-Sight’s Applause, the sire of this dynamite, fine and bright true black fleeced female, Estates Mariah! Mariah is the daughter of FRA Masquerada, a ribbon winner in her own right, who is the daughter of Nic Nac. Masquerada, one of our key foundation females, is one of my favorite girls as her gentleness rubs off on all of her cria. I guarantee you will be in love after you touch that amazing, buttery, jet black fleece. Besides fineness, big bones, correct bite, there is density in the fleece for this barely one year old cute, good natured girl.

Applause, Mariah's sire, was born a knock out and he has not disappointed his owners at Heart and Soul Alpacas. Applause was sired by the legendary grey herdsire, Bisturi, who is best known for his extreme density, compact body style, and incredible crimp, and Applause’s dam brings fine soft handle and strong color genetics into the picture. .
